Similarly, at 0820 AM, while security personnel carrying out security measures near the Villages in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region, 11 improvised mortars (under scrutiny), nine assorted homemade mines, six motorcycle battery pots, six circuits, two Keypad phones, four wires were found and seized on the left and right sides of the Monywa-Chaung-U Road, located between Natyaekan Village and Yaepoesar Village. Additionally, 36 assorted homemade mines, a mortar (under scrutiny), four motorcycles battery pots and 100 yards of wire were found and seized on the right side of the Chaung-U-Myinmu Road, located near Nagshan Village, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade mines, arms and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
