Homemade mines, Arms and Related Materials Intended for using in Terrorist Attacks were seized in Monywa and Chaung-U Township

      To prevent terrorist attacks in various regions and states, ensure stability and peace in the region, enforce the rule of law, and ensure that people can live safely and peacefully, security forces are carrying out necessary security measures around the clock.
      On 9 May at 07:00 AM, while security personnel were carrying out security measures on the Sagaing-Monywa Road in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, 35 assorted homemade mines, planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, were found and seized on the west side of the Road, located between Payitkon (North) Village and Ma-U Village, it is reported.
      Likewise, at 12:50 PM, 17 assorted homemade mines, three mortars (under scrutiny), two motorcycle battery pots and approximately 35 feet of wire, that had been planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group, were found and seized. On the same day at 03:50 PM, 14 assorted homemade mines, two motorcycle battery pots, four dry batteries, two keypad phones and two wires approximately 150 yards were found and seized between Chaung-U Town and Khinmon Village, it is reported.
      It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above cases, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
