On 11 May at 08:15 AM, Security personnel carried out security measures between Payitgon (North) Village and Myaenae village in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, 12 assorted homemade mines, two battery pots and an approximately 30 feet long wire, which were planted by so-called PDF terrorists, were found and seized on the left and right sides of the Sagaing-Monywa road, it is reported.
It has been reported that security personnel systematically seized and cleared homemade guns and related materials found in the above case, and are now taking necessary measures to restore community peace and stability in the area in accordance with laws.
