In certain townships, administrative officials and innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 March at 4:30 AM, a report stated that two men were killed by gunfire in Taingtar Village of Mindon Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Kyi Thein (67 years old) and U Aung Ko Win (38 years old) who both lived in the village, were in their houses when six so-called PDF terrorists, detained them. Subsequently, as the terrorists led them to a jungle path located two furlongs west of the village, they opened fire. As a result, both men died from gunshot wounds, it is reported.
