In certain townships, administrative officials and innocent civilians were shot and killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 25 January at 1:50 PM, a report stated that a male was found dead from gunfire in Aungpankone Village of Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Aye Chan (24 years old), who lived in this village, was returning alone on his motorcycle from Natogyi Town to Aungpankone Village. As he neared the signboard at the village entrance, three so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation) who were waiting for him with two motorcycles, confronted him at gunpoint and arrested him. Later, they tied his hands behind his back and opened fire. They also robbed his motorcycle. As a result, Ko Aye Chan was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 6:45 PM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Taungthugon Ward of Insein Township, Yangon Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a 100-household elder U Saw Lal Htoo (aka) Tootpi (58 years old), who lived in this Ward, was walking from his home to his younger cousin sister Daw May Lin Dar Win’s house, (38 years old), who also lives in this ward. When he was on Oakyaetwin Street, two male so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation), and riding a motorcycle, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Saw Lal Htoo (aka) Tootpi was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative officials and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
