In certain townships, innocent civilians were killed by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 March at 8:00 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Kyuntawsu Village, Yedashe Township, Bago Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Shwe-O (aka) Win Aung (61 years old), who lived in the village, was at home when four so-called PDF terrorists detained him. Later, near a field approximately one mile north of Kyuntawsu Village, the terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, U Shwe-O (aka) Win Aung died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 12 March at 7:30 AM, a report stated that a man was found dead from gunfire by a terrorist group on the dirt road leading to the hotel zone near Khungkwal Village, Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a man (currently under investigation) had died from gunshot wounds at the scene and was transported to Tada-U District Public Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 9:00 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire in Thaungpyin Village in Ye Township, Mon State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 11 March at 11:00 PM, U Than Soe (54 years old), who lived in the village, was at home when a group of KNU members who support terrorism, along with so-called PDF terrorists, arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Than Soe died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
