In certain townships, so-called PDF terrorists shot and killed a civil service personnel and innocent civilians

     In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 January at 6:30 AM, U Soe Myint Tun (53 years old) and Daw Thet Nwe Aung (53 years old), who both lived in Htaukyeit Village of Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region, were at their homes when a so-called PDF terrorist group (the exact number is under investigation) arrived on motorcycles and apprehended them. The incident occurred on the Village Connected Road between Pauktaw Village and Paukmying Village, where the terrorists opened fire on them. As a result, U Soe Myint Tun and Daw Thet Nwe Aung were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Likewise, at 6:50 AM, Daw Mi Mi Tun (41 years old), a Junior Assistant Teacher from Tapal Sub Basic Education High School, who lived in Tapal Village of Tada-U Township, was at home when a so-called PDF terrorist group (the exact number is under investigation) arrived on motorcycles and apprehended her. When the terrorists arrived on Tapal Village road, they opened fire on her. As a result, Daw Mi Mi Tun was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 9:00 AM, a report stated that innocent civilians were dead and injured by gunfire from so-called PDF terrorists in Minkon Village of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Win Naing (54 years old), who lived in this village, was dead from two gunshot injuries on his chest and U Zaw Min (55 years old) who also lived in this village, was also dead from two gunshot injuries to his head and back. Additionally, U Win Naing’s wife, Daw Ei Ei Zin (43 years old) and their daughter, Ma Hnin Nu Wai (16 years old), sustained gunshot injuries. The incident was verified that on 16 January around 9:00 PM when approximately 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived at the village on motorcycles. They forcibly entered the houses of U Win Naing and U Zaw Min, unleashing gunfire. The result was the unfortunate loss of lives and injuries mentioned earlier. Following the violent attacks, the terrorists targeted and vandalized the “Kaung Kaung” Betel shop owned by Ko Yin Min Htet (aka) Ko Htet within the village. Additionally, the terrorists also destroyed a 24-inch of TV, took a hard disk from the CCTV system, and approximately three lakhs MMK. The injured individuals were transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Furthermore, at 10:20 AM, a report stated that a female was dead by gunfire near Oakkan Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Daw Nwe Mar Lin (38 years old), who lived in Patlalinn Village of Madaya Township, was returning home alone on her motorcycle from Yaenantthar Village along the Mandalay-Mogok road. Upon reaching the area between mile posts 32/0 and 32/1 near Oakkan Village, two terrorists (under investigation) approached on a motorcycle behind her. They opened fire on her before fleeing the scene. As a result, Daw Nwe Mar Lin was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
     Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of a civil service personnel and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
