In Gangaw, Myingyan, Patheingyi and Phyu Townships, Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully

      In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 April at 12:00 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near Taungkhinyan Village of Gangaw Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Kyaw Win, 51 years old, (Father) U Nyunt Phu, who lived in this village, was returning home alone on his motorcycle after donating rice and offerings to a Tawya monastery located west of village. When he arrived at the edge of the forest near the village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kyaw Win was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 01:20 PM, according to the report that a man sustained injuries by gunfire in Kunnsite Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U San Yu, 51 years old, (Father) U Kyawl, and U Maung Win, 67 years old, (Father) U Tin Shwe, who both live in this village, were in U San Yu’s house, when two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle. The terrorists entered the house and opened fire on them. When the victims resisted and tried to arrest the terrorists, the latter fled. As a result, U Maung Win sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Myingyan District Public hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, one homemade gun, one magazine and six rounds of 9mm bullet used by terrorists were found and seized at the scene, it is reported.
       Likewise, at 05:00 PM, according to the report that a man sustained injuries by gunfire in Latkaung Village of Patheingyi Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko San Yu Maung, 39 years old, (Father) U Maung Maung Gyi, who lives in this village, was in his house, when four male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko San Yu Maung sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment. Additionally, six 9mm bullet shells were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
       Furthermore, at 05:30 PM, according to the report that a man was dead with gunshot injuries between mile-post number 114/3 and 114/4 of the Yangon-Mandalay Highway in Kwinahnount (1) Ward of Taunggontae area of Kanyutkwin Town in Phyu Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Kyaw San Lin, 52 years old, (Father) U Chit Khin, who lived in Kyauktaga Township, was shot by terrorists (total number-under scrutiny) at the scene. As a result, U Kyaw San Lin was dead from gunshot injuries, and three 9mm bullet shells were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
