In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 September at 05:30 AM, Daw Thida Aung, 36 years old, who lives in Koneywar Village of Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region, was preparing to cook rice in her house yard, when seven so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Thida Aung sustained two bullet penetrating injuries on her right leg and is currently receiving medical treatment at Ahlalkone Circuit Hospital, it is reported.
Similarly, on 2 September at 07:45 AM, U Maw Gyi, 63 years old, who lived in Myayinandar Ward of Chanmyatharzi Township, Mandalay Region, was riding his motorcycle from south to north along 59th Road. When he arrived at the corner of 59th Road and 110 (A) Streets in Kantharyar Ward, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) who were riding on a motorcycle from the same direction behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Maw Gyi was dead from nine bullet penetrating injuries on his forehead, shoulder, chest and back at the incident. Additionally, Daw Htay Htay, 60 years old, who was selling goods at the corner at that time, sustained a gunshot injury on her right femur and was transported to the Mandalay Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
