In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 May at 08:05 AM, according to the report that two men, a woman and four children were injured by attacking with grenade and guns in Khaukngho Village of Homalin Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Maung Lwin, 41 years old (Father) U Thar Phay, along with his wife Daw Moe Kyi, 43 years old (Father) U Maung Po, his daughter Ma Shwe Kaday khine (11 years old), his son Mg Sai (three years old), U Thein Htwe, 42 years old (Father) U Aung Mhat, Mg Aung Kaung Myat, 11 years old (Father) U Han Min Thu and Mg Aung Htet Paing, eight years old (Father) U Eike Soe, who all live in this Village, were in U Maung Lwin’s house, when four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire and threw a grenade on them before fleeing. As a result, seven people, including U Maung Lwin, sustained gunshot and bomb injuries and were transported to a military for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:45 AM, Ko Kyal Phone (aka) Soe Than, 33 years old, (Father) U Kyan Aung, who lived in Lwaltamu Village of Loikaw Township, Kayah State, was leaving home to pick betel leaf. When he arrived at a betel leaf farm located near a field outside of the village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As the result, Ko Kyal Phone (aka) Soe Than was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Likewise, at 04:00 PM, according to the report that a man and woman were dead by gunfire in Kwingyi Village of Yaedashe Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Ohn Than, 66 years old, (Father) U Tun Shin, who lived in this village, was in his house with his wife Daw Khin San Win, 45 years old, (Father) U Thaung Yi, when a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Ohn Than and Daw Khin San Win were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 07:30 PM, according to the report that a woman was dead by gunfire in Soutchonpauk Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ma Nwe Nwe Soe, 37 years old, (Father) U Ohm Maung, who lived in this village, was in her house, when seven male so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on her by accusing her of being “Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)”. As a result, Ma Nwe Nwe Soe was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, on 5 May at 07:25 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Phayarphyu Village of Madaya Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Kyi Min, 56 years old, (Father) U Nyo, who lived in this village, was in a tea shop that was opened next to his house, when four male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kyi Min was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:05 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Nganmyar Village of Ngazun Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U Aung Than Zaw, 51 years old, (Father) U Kyi Nyunt, who lived in this village, was returning home alone on a motorcycle from a tea shop in Nganmyar Village. When he reached 20 yards away from his house, two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Than Zaw was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned case based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
