In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 August at 05:45 AM, a manger from Yuzana oil palm farm located at the Yaetwintaung intersection in Aungchanthar Village group of Kamaukgyi Town in Kawthoung Township, Tanintharyi Region; U Kyaw Thant Zin, 36 years old, along with his wife Daw Zar Li Moe, 23 years old, were present in their house within the oil palm farm, when approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and forced U Kyaw Thant Zin to sit on the chair in front of house. Later, the terrorists opened fire on U Kyaw Thant Zin by accusing him of being a “Decoy (Dalan)”. As a result, U Kyaw Thant Zin was dead from two bullets penetrating injuries behind his left ear at the incident, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:00 AM, U Thein Soe, 60 years old, along with his son-in-law U Aung Soe, 44 years old, who both live in Kyaukshut Village of Yebyu Township, were leaving on a motorcycle to their orchard located approximately one mile west of the Village along a jungle road. When they arrived at the edge of the forest outside the Village, approximately seven so-called PDF terrorists, who were waiting for them, opened fire on them by accusing them of being “Decoys (Dalans)” before fleeing. As a result, U Thein Soe was dead from two bullets penetrating injuries to his right temple and abdomen, while U Aung Soe sustained a bullet penetrating injury to his right arm, it is reported.
Security Personnel Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
