In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 February at 12:30 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group used a drone to drop bombs on Thalphyuywarthit Village of Palnwekone Town in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. One of the bombs, exploded in the house yard of U Naing Win Aung (30 years old), who lives in this village. As a result, U Naing Win Aung sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel was transported to Palnwekone Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incidents involving the drone-dropped bomb attack on the village, which resulted in the earlier mentioned. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
