In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 August at 11:30 AM, according to the report that a male was found dead with injuries next to a creek located west of Ngarlonepyun Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that a lower clerk from Madaya Township Administrative Department Office U Naung Tun Oo, 29 years old, who lived in Anyarkine Village, was present in his house on 26 August at 08:45 PM, when a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived and arrested him. Later, the terrorists killed U Naung Tun Oo by stabbing and slashing him with knife next to a creek located west of Ngarlonepyun Village. As a result, U Naung Tun Oo was found dead with knife injuries by tying his hands behind his back with a rope, it is reported.
Similarly, on 27 August at 02:00 PM, according to the report that three males were killed by gunfire in Latpanthar Village of Ngazun Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that approximately 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived at Latpanthar Village on 26 August at 06:00 PM. Later, they entered the houses of U Kyaw Nyein, 63 years old, U Thein Shwe, 60 years old and U Win Soe Naing, 52 years old opened fire on them. As a result, U Kyaw Nyein, U Thein Shwe and U Win Soe Naing were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
