In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 November at 05:00 AM, a report stated that a male was dead by gunfire in Sukar Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that a 100-household elder U Myo Aung (aka) Nay Myo Aung (42 years old), who lived in Nyaungkone Village of Madaya Township, was returning on a motorcycle, driven by U Zaw Wun (under scrutiny), from Mandalay City to Nyaungkone Village. When they arrived near a bridge located near Sukar Village, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle behind them, opened fire on U Myo Aung (aka) Nay Myo Aung before fleeing. As a result, U Myo Aung (aka) Nay Myo Aung was dead from a gunshot injury to his head, it is reported.
Likewise, at 04:00 PM, a report stated that a male was injured by gunfire in Ywarhtaung Ward of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Aung Htike (47 years old), who lives in Seinpankone Ward of Sagaing Township, was travelling alone in his motor vehicle along the Sagaing-Monywa road, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle from the opposite direction, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Htike sustained a bullet penetrating injury to his neck and was transported to the Sagaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
