In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against the public who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 August at 08:00 AM, according to the report that a male was found dead with gunfire, stabbing and slashing with knife injuries on the left side of the roadside of Latwaegyi Village in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that an approximately 35 years old men (under scrutiny) was dead with gunfire, stabbing and slashing with knife injuries at the incident, and his body was transported to the Madaya Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:30 AM, according to the report that two females were dead by gunfire in Nhutchotaw Village of Myingyan Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that Ma Khin Thida Tun, 39 years old (Father) U Aung Ngwe, who lived in this Village, along with Ma Thet Mon, 37 years old (Father) U Nyo Maung, who also lived in this Village, were present in Ma Khin Thida Tun’s house, when six male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, Ma Khin Thida Tun and Ma Thet Mon were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 02:30 PM, according to the report that a male was dead and another male was injured by gunfire near Nabar Village of Indaw Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that four male individuals (under scrutiny) including U Tin Zaw Myint, 45 years old (Father) U Nyunt Shwe and U Hein Thu Kyaw, 33 years old (Father) U Kyaw Tin, who both live in Warchat Village of Sagaing Township, were traveling from Mohnyin Township to Indaw Township in a Light Truck vehicle along the Myintkyinar-Shwebo Road. When they arrived approximately 120 feet away from Nabar over weight check point located near Nabar Village, a KIA insurgent group and so-called PDF terrorists opened fire with small arms on them. As a result, U Tin Zaw Myint was dead from gunshot injuries, while U Hein Thu Kyaw sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Katha Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against the civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
