In Minhla townships, so-called PDF terrorists shot and murdered a Village Administrator

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 February at 12:15 PM, a report stated that U Myint Han (63 years old), Village Administrator of Shwewahmyaing Village in Minhla Township, Bago Region, was travelling alone by motorcycle from Minhla Town to Shwewahmyaing Village along the Yangon-Pyay Road. Upon arriving between the Yangon-Pyay Road mileposts 98/2 and 98/3 near Shwewahmyaing Village, two so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation) who were riding a motorcycle behind him, opened fire before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Myint Han suffered a gunshot wound that traversed from his right cheek to left cheek, as well as two additional bullet wounds to his neck and right shoulder. Security personnel quickly responded to the situation by inspecting the area and transporting U Myint Han to Minhla Township Public Hospital for urgent medical attention. Tragically, U Myint Han was dead from his injuries whilst en route to the hospital. Additionally, six bullet shells labeled “USA 380 AUTO” were seized at the incident site, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killing and assassination of a Village Administrator in the abovementioned case. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
