In Mohnyin and Tachileik Townships, terrorists wantonly kill innocent civilians who live peacefully

     In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against some innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 November at 12:45PM, a report stated that a male with gunshot injures had arrived at Mohnyin District Public Hospital, Kachin State. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Cho Naing Htway (aka) Maung Lay (41 years old), who lives in Aungthapyay (1) Ward of Mohnyin Town, was found with a bullet penetrating injury to his abdomen and a bruise on his waist. The incident was verified that, when U Cho Naing Htway (aka) Maung Lay sustained aforementioned injuries from gunfire by so-called PDF terrorists. He was cutting bamboo on Lautsar Mountain, located near Aungthapyay (1) Ward, at the time of the incident, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 03:30 PM, a report stated that a deceased male with gunshot injures had been brought to Mohnyin District Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Zaw Naing Oo (47 years old), who lived in Aungthapyay (1) Ward of Mohnyin Town, was found deceased with two bullet penetrating injuries; one in his right chest and the other in his back. The incident was verified that on the same day at 08:00 AM, U Zaw Naing Oo left home to Taungyankharshae mountain for bamboo cutting. However, he did not return home, prompting his son Ko Zaw San Win, to search for him. Unfortunately, Ko Zaw San Win found his father dead with aforementioned injuries near an area where both KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists were reported to be active, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 06:45 PM, Daw Eikawla (37 years old), who lives in Weinkyauk Ward of Tachileik Town, Eastern Shan State, was returning home alone on her motorcycle from Lonsitone Village of Tachileik Township, when she arrived at the city by-pass road in Sansai (khakhway) Ward, two terrorists (under scrutiny) who were riding a motorcycle behind her, opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Eikawla sustained three bullet penetrating injuries to her left arm, left elbow and abdomen. Currently, she is receiving medical care at Tachileik Township Public Hospital, it is reported.
     Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
