In Mohnyin Township, innocent civilians were killed by KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 March at 1:20 PM, Ko Sit Phyo Aung (28 years old), who lives in Myomayanaung Ward in Nanmar Town, Mohnyin Township, Kachin State, was heading to Nanyin Creek on his bicycle to dispose of garbage. As he neared the creek, a group of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko Sit Phyo Aung sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to Mohnyin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killing and assassination of an innocent civilian in the abovementioned case. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
