In Myaing and Mahlaing Townships, four innocent civilians, including two children, were injured due to a drone-dropped bomb attack by a so-called PDF terrorist group

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 January at 10:30 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (the exact number is under investigation) carried out an attack by dropping bombs on Kanni Village of Myaing Township, Magway Region, using a drone. The bombs exploded within the village, and as a result of the explosions, Ma Poe Ei Zin (12 years old), Ma Htay Nwe (32 years old), and U Moe Hein (68 years old), who all live in this village, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. They are currently under medical care at a clinic in Kanni Village, it is reported.
     Likewise, at 6:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (the exact number is under investigation) carried out an attack by dropping bombs on Thonetaung Village of Mahlaing Township, Madalay Region, using a drone. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result of the explosions, Mg Zaw Myo Myint (13 years old), who lives in this village, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to Mahlaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incidents involving drone attacks that dropped bombs on the villages, which resulted in the earlier mentioned injuries. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
