In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 June at 02:30 PM, according to the report that a man was found dead with gunshot injuries beside the Myingyan-Kansint-Layywarsone Village Road located near Kansint Village in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that a MDY-8L/XXXX Dyna vehicle, driven by Ko Ye Min Htet and accompanied by vehicle helper Ko Aung Kyaw Kyaw, 22 years old (Father) U Yan Way, Daw Moe Moe Khine, Daw Mar Mar Htwe and Daw Shwe Kyi, who all live in Layywarsone Village, were returning from Myingyan town to Layywarsone Village. When they arrived at the scene, six male terrorists (under scrutiny) forced the vehicle to stop and the occupants to lie down on the ground. They then proceeded to open fire on Ko Aung Kyaw Kyaw. As a result, Ko Aung Kyaw Kyaw was dead from gunshot injures at the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:45 PM, according to the report that a woman was injured by gunfire near the Myawady Buddhist nunnery school in Chanmyatharyar Ward of Pyigyidagun Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Daw Khin Marlar, 50 years old (Father) U Bo Lay, who lives in Tammawadi Ward of Chanmyatharzi Township, was returning home alone on her motorcycle from Myayinandar Ward along Myawaddymingyi road. Upon reaching the scene, three male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding on a motorcycle from the opposite direction, opened fire on her before quickly fleeing. As a result, Daw Khin Marlar sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
