In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 October at 09:30 AM, according to the report that a male and female were dead by gunfire in Kyaukkone Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Daw Hla Hla Han (48 years old), who lived in this Village, was engaging in a conversation with U Maung Maung Myint (40 years old), who also lived in this Village, in her house, when a group of six so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them, saying “Don’t keep the decoys (Dalans) alive”. As a result, U Maung Maung Myint was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries; one to his right head and one to his neck and one to his left abdomen, while Daw Hla Hal Han was dead from a bullet penetrating injury to her right forehead, it is reported.
Likewise, on 14 October at 08:45 AM, 100-household elder U Kyauk Khae (58 years old), who lived in Thantaw Village of Tharzi Township, was present in his house, when a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyauk Khae was dead from bullet penetrating injuries to his head and back, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
