In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 June at 08:20 AM, according to the report that two men were found dead with injuries near Duwon Village and Htainpan Village signboards located on the Myingyan-Myothar Road in Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that an approximately 30-year-old man (under scrutiny) and an approximately 25-year-old man (under scrutiny) were found dead with gunshot injuries, and their bodies were transported to the Myingyan Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 08:45 AM, according to the report that a man was found dead with injuries beside the railway road near the entrance road east of Thalunphyu Village in Madaya Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that an approximately 60-year-old man (under scrutiny) was found dead with gunshot injuries at the scene, and his body was transported to the Madaya Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Likewise, at 01:30 PM, Village Administrator U Kyaw Swe, 55 years old, (Father) U Phoe Htwe, who lived in Lonekhinn Village of Hpakant Township, Kachin State, was present in his house with his family, when two males (under scrutiny) from an insurgent group supporting terrorism and a so-called PDF terrorist group arrived on a motorcycle and arrested him. Later, when they arrived the area between Thingaha Social Assistance Association Office of Lonekhinn Village and Lonekhinn cemetery, the terrorists opened fire and killed U Kyaw Swe, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 07:50 PM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire in Ayetharyar Ward of Malione Village of Kawthaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Than (aka) Than Win, 43 years old, (Father) U Aung Sein, who lives in this Ward, was present in his owned electrical materials shop attached to his house, when three male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, Ko Than (aka) Than Win sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to a military hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
