In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 June at 01:15 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire after a robbery took place in No. (7) Ward of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Zaw Naing Tun, 50 years old (Father) U Kyine, who lived in this Ward, was present in his owned “Ni Ni Lwin” gold jewelry shop, when four so-called terrorists arrived on two motorcycles. The terrorists forced U Zaw Naing Tun to open the steel concertina door to threaten and rob gold jewelry, but U Zaw Naing Tun refused to comply and open the door. In response, the terrorists opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Zaw Naing Tun was dead from gunshot injuries while gold sale counters were damaged by gunshots. Fortunately, no gold jewelries were losing, it is reported.
Similarly, at 03:30 PM, according to the report that a woman was dead by gunfire in Khundaunt Village of Natogyi Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Daw Mya Aye, 59 years old, (Father) U Sal Than, who lived in this Village, was present in her house with her family, when approximately 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived on 10 motorcycles and opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Mya Aye was dead from gunshot injuries. Additionally, five shells of 9mm THAI ARMS bullet and a round of bullet were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:10 PM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire at the entrance of U-Yin Village in Aunglan Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Sitaung Village group Administrator U Thaung Soe Oo, 50 years old, (Father) U San Myint, who lives in this Village, was returning home on his motorcycle from Moekaung Village. When he arrived near the scene, two male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding a motorcycle behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Thaung Soe Oo sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Aunglan Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Furthermore, on 9 June at 07:15 AM, according to the report that a man was dead and another man sustained injuries by gunfire on the village connected road of Bokone Village and Sitaingkan Village in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Soe Win, 56 years old, (Father) U Ba Yin, was leaving from his home to a teashop located approximately five furlongs north of the village. When he arrived near the scene, he met and engaged in conversation with U Nyi Aung, 49 years old, (Father) U Hla Myint, who also lives in the same Village. At that time, two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Soe Win was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, while U Nyi Aung sustained gunshot injuries. U Nyi Aung was transported to the Madaya Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
