In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 January at 11:30 AM, a report stated that four females were killed by gunfire in Tuyinbot Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 28 January at 10:00 PM, Ma Ei May Jar (24 years old), Daw Khin Swe Win (46 years old), Daw Nyunt May (62 years old), and Ma Zin Mar Tin (30 years old), who all lived in this Village, were in their homes when a group of seven so-called PDF terrorists (under investigation), arrived on four motorcycles and detained them. Later, near the Myingyan-Myothar road, approximately two furlongs southwest of Tuyinbot Village, the terrorists opened fire on the detained individuals. As a result, Ma Ei May Jar and three others were dead by gunshots, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of innocent civilians in the abovementioned case. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
