In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 September at 08:00 AM, U Kyaw Thet Oo (51 years old), who lived in Theintai Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, was transporting Daw Aye Khine, Daw Yu Mon, Daw Aye Aye Nu, Daw Nandar Aung and Daw Sandar Win, who all live in the same Village, on his three-wheeled motorcycle for a shopping trip to Myingyan Town. When they arrived between Tawpu Village and Talotemyoe Village, four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) riding on two motorcycles forced to stop the three-wheeled motorcycle. Later, the terrorists opened fire on U Kyaw Thet Oo by accusing him of being a “Decoy (Dalan)”. As a result, U Kyaw Thet Oo was dead from a bullet penetrating injury through his neck to right parietal bone, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against an innocent civilian in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
