In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 May at 04:20 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at mile-post 45/5 of the Mandalay-Monywa Highway located near Hteesaung Village of Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Nan, 27 years old, (Father) U Tun Ko, who lived in this village, was driving alone on a black Scopy motorcycle on his way to go shopping in Myinmu Township. When he arrived at the scene, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him and robbed his motorcycle before fleeing. As a result, Ko Nan was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:50 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near a Pagoda located at the entrance of Daungsar Village in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Kyaw Min Tun (aka) Kyaw Min, 47 years old, (Father) U Ne Pon, who lived in Sinmin Village of Pakokku Township, was in his house, when approximately five so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and arrested him. Later, when they arrived at the scene, the terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, Ko Kyaw Min Tun (aka) Kyaw Min was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 08:10 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near Sinywarthit Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Hla Myo Aung, 34 years old, (Father) U Thaung Htay, who lived in No. (2) Bayintnaung Ward of Madaya Township, was driving in a six-wheel vehicle from Sinywarthit Village to Madaya Township. When he arrived at the scene, three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who had been waiting, opened fire on him. As a result, U Hla Myo Aung was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Furthermore, at 08:45 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Khungon Village of Thayarwaddy Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Aung Myint Khine (aka) Phoe Htaung, 46 years old, (Father) U Hla Htay who lived in this village, was sitting on a bench under his stilts house, engaged in conversation with his family, when three so-called PDF terrorists arrived on two motorcycles and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Aung Myint Khine (aka) Phoe Htaung was dead at the scene from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
