In Natmauk and Aungmyaytharzan Townships, innocent civilians were killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 February at 8:45 AM, a report stated that a man was killed by gunfire near the “OK” white hemp farm, located along the Tharmyar-Pasaut/Gwaykone Village Commutable Road in Natmauk Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that Ko Si Thu Soe (47 years old), a resident from No.(2) Ward in Lathar Township, Yangon Region and Ma Htay Htay Kying (34 years old), a resident from Taungkangyi Village in Yamethin Township, were staying at the house of Ko Myat Than Soe (aka) Bo Hein, who lives in Pasaut/Gwaykone Village. They were travelling on two motorcycles from Pasaut/Gwaykone Village to the Bagan Pagodas on a pilgrimage. Upon arriving at the incident site, two so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, Ko Si Thu Soe died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:00 AM, a report stated that a man had died from knife injuries found along the drain on the 87 Street, between 14 and 15 Streets in Pyigyiyanlone Ward of Aungmyaytharzan Township. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a man, approximately 40 years old, had been killed by knife injuries at the incident site and was transported to Mandalay Public Hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
