In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 June at 11:45 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the junction of Kapaungkonegyi Village in Natmauk Township, Magway Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Myo Htike, 44 years old (Father) U Tin Maung Myo, who lived in Konegyi Village of Myothit Township, was riding alone on his motorcycle along the Natmauk-Saikaung Road. When he arrived at the scene, six male terrorists (under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Myo Htike was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:20 PM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire near an upland field located approximately six miles north of Phekon (south) Village in Phekon Township, Southern Shan State, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Karlos, 45 years (Father) U Tol, who lives in this village, was leaving from his home to go to an upland field on his motorcycle. When he reached the scene, a terrorist group (under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Karlos sustained gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, at 03:20 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in the northern part of No. (1) Ward in Swar Town, Yaedashe Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ward Administrator U Win Tin, 65 years old (Father) U Ohn Kyawl, who lived in this Ward, was present on the front porch of his home, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Win Tin was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Furthermore, on 13 June at 07:40 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the Myitthar Creek Bridge located between Zarthapyin (east) Village and Zarthapyin (west) Village of Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Maung Soe (aka) Maniyar, 60 years old, (Father) U Dan Kayar, who lived in Kawtkyaik Village of Hpa-an Township, was leaving from Kawtkyaik Village on his motorcycle to go to Zarthapyin (west) Village. Upon reaching the scene, a male terrorist (under scrutiny), who was riding a motorcycle behind him, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Maung Soe (aka) Maniyar was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
