In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 September at 08:15 PM, according to the report that two males were killed and another male was injured by gunfire in Thankone Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Moe Ko Ko (aka) Moe Moe, 30 years old, U Myo Ko, 30 years old, and U Min Than, 25 years old, who all live in this Village, were sitting together in Daw Nyein’s grocery store in this village, when a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) arrived in a vehicle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Moe Ko Ko (aka) Moe Moe was dead from gunshot injuries at the incident, while U Myo Ko and U Min Than sustained gunshot injuries respectively. They were transported to the Ngazun Township Public Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, U Myo Ko and U Min Than were also dead from their injuries while receiving medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:00 PM, according to the report that three males were killed by gunfire in Htatawma Village of Natogyi Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that U Nan Aung, 47 years old, U Nan Tin, 45 years old and U Aung Bo, 70 years old, who all live in this Village, were present in their respective houses, when a group of four male so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles and arrested them. Later, when they arrived at the junction heading to Htatawma Village’s monastery, the terrorists opened fire on them. As a result, three individuals including U Nan Aung were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
