In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by an extremist ideology of 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil service personnel, administrative officials, and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 December at 07:15 PM, U Min Aung (55 years old), who lived in Myothar (West) Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, was at his home six so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles. They opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Min Aung was dead from three bullet penetrating injuries to his chest and pubes area during the incident, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for wantonly killing and assassination of an innocent civilian in the abovementioned case. These acts stem from an extremist ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
