In Oaktwin and Salin Townships, so-called PDF terrorists shot and killed administrative officials and innocent civilians

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 7 February at 10:30 AM, U Htay Lwin (58 years old), a 100-household elder, who lived in Tadakauk (middle) Village of Oaktwin Township, Bago Region, was at home when a collaborative group consisting of KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists (the exact number is under investigation) arrived and arrested him by tying him up with a rope. Later, upon reaching the bridge in the middle of the village, the terrorists opened fire on him, resulting in his death from gunshot wounds, it is reported.
Similarly, at 10:45 AM, a report stated that two males, deceased from gunshot injuries, had arrived at the Township Public Hospital in Salin Town, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that U Tin Hmway (65 years old) had died from a bullet wound to his left temple, and U Soe Naing Win (aka) Phoe Gyi (50 years old), had died from a bullet wound to his forehead. Both were residents of Magyikone Village in Salin Township. The incident was verified that earlier that day, around 2:00 AM, eight so-called PDF terrorists on four motorcycles entered Magyikone Village. Subsequently, the terrorists forcibly took U Tin Hmway and U Soe Naing Win (aka) Phoe Gyi from their homes. Near Russia (North) Village, the terrorists then opened fire on them, resulting in their deaths, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of administrative official and innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
