In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 August at 12:20 PM, U Tin Zaw Win, 41 years old, who lived in (1) Ward of Myitchay Town in Pakokku Township of Magway Region, was present in his house with his wife Daw Hnin Hnin Moe, when five so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and entered the house. Then, the terrorists opened fire on U Tin Zaw Win by accusing him of being “decoy/ dalan”. As a result, U Tin Zaw Win was dead from four gunshot injuries on his chest, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:05 PM, Kawtkhalane Village administrator; U Zaw Min, 45 years old, who lived in Kyarinnchaung Village of Kyaikemaraw Township in Mon State, was driving in a vehicle with his wife Daw Ngwe Htein from Kawtkhalane Village to Kyarinnchaung Village. Upon reaching between these two Villages, three terrorists (under scrutiny), who were riding two motorcycles from the opposite direction, opened fire on them. As a result, U Zaw Min sustained three gunshot injuries on his shoulder, shoulder blade and nape, and was receiving medical treatment at the Tayanar Village Circuit Hospital, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned case based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
