In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 August at 01:45 PM, Kyawltae Village Administrator U Khin Maung Aye, 62 years old (Father) U Ohn Shwe, who lived in Aungchantharkwatthit of Kyawltae Village Group in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, was present in his house, when four males and a female so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on him. Additionally, the terrorists robbed two mobile phones from U Khin Maung Aye’s house. Subsequently, the terrorists also entered the house of U Thein Tint Tun, 56 years old (Father) U Tint Yin, located south of U Khin Maung Aye’s house. The terrorists held U Thein Tint Tun and his wife Daw Nwe Nwe Myint, 53 years old (Father) U Aung Khin San, at gunpoint, and they proceeded to rob a Light Truck vehicle and a mobile phone that belonged to U Thein Tint Tun. Furthermore, the terrorists arrested Daw Nwe Nwe Myint. As a result, Kyawltae Village Administrator U Khin Maung Aye was dead from two bullet penetrating injuries to his forehead by terrorists’ gunfire, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:10 PM, U Win Naing, 54 years old (Father) U Tun Ohn, who lives in Waide Village of Lounglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, was present in his house yard, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire him by accusing him of being “Decoy (Dalan)”. As a result, U Win Naing sustained three gunshot injuries on his right arm, right elbow and back. He was transported to the Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials and innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
