Inngarkhwa Village group administrator U Zaw Lin Aung was killed by three so-called PDF terrorists’ gunfire in Paukkhaung Township, Bago Region, it is reported.
The incident occurred that, on 16 August at 06:55 PM, Inngarkhwa Village group administrator U Zaw Lin Aung, 50 years old, who lived in Tarkaute Village in Inngarkhwa Village group of Paukkhaung Township, Bago Region, was playing cane-ball game with fellow villagers, when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on two motorcycles from Pyay Town along the Pyay-Paukkhaung Road, and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Zaw Lin Aung sustained four gunshot injuries on his right/left femur, pelvic and waist. Unfortunately, he was dead from his injuries during the incident while receiving medical treatment in Paungtalal Circuit Hospital, it is reported.
Security force members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killing and assassination against the Village administrator, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, in accordance with the law, it is reported.
