In Paunde Township, terrorists shot and killed a revered Buddhist monk, causing the untimely death of this sacred figure cherished by the Buddhist people of Myanmar

       Terrorist organizations are carrying out acts of sabotage within the country, as well as launching heavy weapons and dropping bombs using drones attacks, targeting and destroying religious buildings and monasteries that are sacred to Buddhist Myanmar people, while also abducting and brutally killing the Buddhist monks, it is found that heartbreakingly.
       Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 June at 03:00 PM, a monk U Sandarthiri, 56 years old and 36 years as a monk, who lives in a monastery located in Latpankhon Village of Paunde Township, was returning from Thaungkhamauk Village to Latpankhon Village after delivering a sermon. When he arrived between Latpankhon Village and Maukwin Village, three male terrorists (under scrutiny) who wearing the face masks opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Sandarthiri passed away from gunfire injuries at the scene, it is reported.
       As a result of these acts of terrorism, 71 Buddhist monks and one nun in the state have passed away, and the security forces are diligently conducting search operations and implementing area lockdowns to apprehend and bring to justice the individuals responsible for the aforementioned incident, it is reported.
