In Phyu, Oakpho and Baham Townships, Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully

     In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 April at 11:50 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire near Yaepyar Village of Phyu Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Soe Lwin (aka) Maw Si, 66 years old, (Father) U Chit Tee, who lived in this Village, was leaving his house on his motorcycle to travel alone to Khungon Village, and when he reached the exit of the village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Soe Lwin (aka) Maw Si was dead from gunshot injuries. Additionally, four bullet shells mark with Luger were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 06:30 PM, according to the report that a man sustained injuries by gunfire near U Negon Village of Oakpho Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Myo Win, 35 years old, (Father) U Pan Aung, who lives in Ywarthargon Village, was leaving his house on his motorcycle to travel alone to U Negon Village, and when he arrived at the scene, two so-called PDF terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Myo Win sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Oakpho Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Likewise, on 29 April, at 09:55 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the corner of Ngamout street and Mahuyar street located in Kyaikkasan Ward of Baham Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Ye Min Than, 55 years old, (Father) U Phay Aung, who lived in this Ward, was leaving his house alone in a YGN 1E/XXXX SUZUKI SWIFT vehicle, and when he arrived at the scene, two male terrorists (under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Ye Min Than was dead from gunshot injuries. Additionally, four 9 mm & B 21 bullet shells were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
