In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against some innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts, using guns and knives, after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 21 November at 07:55 AM, a report stated that a male was shooting near mile post 296/1 of the Yangon-Mandalay Highway road, close to Ngwepale Village of Pyawbwe, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Nyi Nyi (33 years old), who lives in Yintaw Village of Pyawbwe Township, was found with a bullet penetrating injury through his left buttock to left thigh along the roadside. The incident was verified that, while U Nyi Nyi was collecting plastic cans along the roadside of the Yangon-Mandalay Highway road, he observed two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) planting a mine near Kyini Village. Subsequently, the terrorists pursued him, opening fire before fleeing. As a result, security personnel, inspecting near Kyini Village, they discovered a homemade mine connected with a wire rope located between mile post 292/5 and 292/6 on the roadside of the Yangon-Mandalay Highway road. Security personnel safely disarmed and seized it. The injured individual was transported to the Meiktila District Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 01:00 PM, a report stated that two deceased males with gunshot injures had been brought to Mohnyin Township Public Hospital. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, it was found that U Moe Min Zaw (aka) Sagaing (35 years old), who lived in Oakkyin Ward of Mohnyin Town, and an unidentified male were found deceased with gunshot injuries to their chests and hands. The incident was verified that on the same day at 11:00 AM, they were both opened fire while on the mountain located east of Aungthapyay Ward in Mohnyin Town by a collaborative group including KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
