In Pyay, Madaya and Yedashe Townships, Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully

      In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 May at 10:45 AM, according to the report that a man and woman were dead by gunfire near Taungnawin irrigation located on the Taegon-Paungtalal road in Taegon Village of Pyay Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U Soe Than, 51 years old, (Father) U Maung Shein, who lived in this village, was returning in his BGO 4N/ 7869 Hijet white vehicle, along with his wife Daw Swe Swe Myint, 48 years old, (Father) U Nyan Thein, and Ma Thiri Haling, 19 years old, who lives in Eastern Ward, after shopping in Paungtalal Town and heading back to Talgon Village. When they arrived at the scene, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), waiting on a motorcycle, opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, U Soe Than and Daw Swe Swe Myint were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 01:10 PM, according to the report that two men were dead by gunfire near Htanpingon Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Soe Moe Thu, 36 years old, (Father) U Sein Myint, along with Ko Win Min Aye, 35 years old, (Father) U Kyi Mu, who lived in Shwechaung Village of Madaya Township, were bathing in a ditch near their field after working in the field when three male terrorists arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on them before fleeing. As a result, Ko Soe Moe Thu and Ko Win Min Aye were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Likewise, on 9 May at 06:00 AM, U Aye Cho (aka) U Cho Lay, 48 years old, (Father) U Art Kal, who lived in Yegon Village of Yedashe Township, Bago Region, was in his house, when approximately six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and arrested him, tying his hands with a rope. When they arrived in front of house of another villager, U Yar Kyaw (aka) U Myint Soe, 65 years old, (Father) U Aung San, the terrorists opened fire on U Aye Cho (aka) U Cho Lay. As the result, U Aye Cho (aka) U Cho Lay was dead from gunshot injuries. Later, terrorists proceeded to Wayonelalmyauk Village and arrested U Soe Kyi, 48 years old, (Father) U Aung Kyi, who lived in this Village, and tied his hands with a rope. When they were near a cemetery located south of the village, the terrorists opened fire and stabbed U Soe Kyi in the neck with knife. As the result, U Soe Kyi was dead from his injuries, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
