In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against the public who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 1 August at 03:10 PM, according to the report that a male with gunshot injures arrived at the District hospital in Sagaing Town of Sagaing Region, security personnel went and conducted an inspeciton. Upon inspection, U Si Thu Aung, 36 years old (Father) U Paw Win, who lives in Shweminwun Ward of Sagaing Town, was found with two gunshot injuries on his left arm and back. The incident was verified that at 03:00 PM, U Si Thu Aung was returning on his motorcycle from Myawady Ward. When he arrived on Yonegyi road in Myawady Ward, two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny), who were following him by riding a motorcycle, opened fire on him. As a result, U Si Thu Aung sustained above injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:30 PM, U Khin Maung Lwin, 68 years old (Father) U Thar Htay, who lived in Atwinbokepyin Village of Bokepyin Township, Tanintharyi Region, along with his wife Daw Myint Khine, 58 years old, and his son Ko Kyaw Kyaw Lwin, 24 years old, were present in their house located in an orchard near the Village, when two so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, U Khin Maung Lwin and Daw Myint Khine were dead from gunshot injuries on their chests, while Ko Kyaw Kyaw Lwin sustained an injury on his right waist, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against the civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
