In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 26 June at 11:00 PM, according to the report that a woman was injured by gunfire in Yaemyat Village of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Daw Aye Htway Myint, 49 years old (Father) U Htein Myint, who lives in this village, was present in her house, when three male terrorists arrived and opened fire on her. Although Daw Aye Htway Myint attempted to evade, she sustained gunshot injuries. She was transported to the Mandalay Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, on 27 June at 03:00 PM, according to the report that a woman was dead by gunfire in Kula Village of Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Daw Htay Myint, 53 years old (Father) U Kyaw Nyein, who lived in this Village, was present in her house with her families, when 10 so-called PDF terrorists arrived on five motorcycles and opened fire on her. Furthermore, the terrorists threatened and robbed a mobile phone, two set of earrings, cash MMK 18 lakhs and a HONDA 125 motorcycle from the house. As a result, Daw Htay Myint was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
