In Sagaing Township, an innocent civilian was killed by so-called PDF terrorists

In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 February at 7:00 PM, a report stated that a man had been killed by gunfire in Minkon Village of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found U Yan Myo Aung (35 years old) who lived in the village, was in his house when four so-called PDF terrorists arrived on two motorcycles and shot him before fleeing. As a result, U Yan Myo Aung died from his gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killing and assassination of an innocent civilian in the abovementioned case. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
