In some townships across States and Regions, armed terrorists driven by a radicalized ideology that considers 'Anyone with differing views is an enemy' are carrying out violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets include civil services, administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not endorse their terrorist activities. Using firearms and knives, they accuse these individuals of being 'spies,' 'informants,' or 'decoys' to instill fear among peace-seeking civilians, causing a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 March at 9:00 AM, a repot state that a man was killed by gunfire near Kanchauk Village, Salin Township, Magway Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that on 12 March at 10:30 PM, U Myo Min Oo (35 years old), who lived in the village, was at home when approximately 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived and detained him. Later, when the terrorists arrived at the Salin Creek, located approximately two furlongs south of the village, they opened fire on him. As a result, U Myo Min Oo died from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 14 March at 9:20 AM, U Kyaw Htin (43 years old), who lived in Wargyiai Village, Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region, was returning home on his motorcycle from Yonesigyi Village, Taungtha Township. When he arrived between Yonesigyi Village and Thantan Village, a so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, U Kyaw Htin died from gunshot wounds, it is reported.
Security personnel are persistently undertaking essential measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for killings and assassinations of innocent civilians in the abovementioned cases. These acts stem from a radicalized ideology that deems anyone holding differing views as an enemy, it is reported.
