In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations against innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on the morning of 3 November, a Light Truck vehicle, driven by Ko Nan Win (23 years old), who lives in Kyitaukpauk Village of Sinku Township, Mandalay Region, accompanied by his father U Phoe Chin (43 years old), was travelling to Shwebo Town along the Mandalay-Shwebo Road. When they arrived near Min Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, on the same day at 09:30 AM, so-called PDF terrorists opened fire on them from a field located on the right side of the road. As a result, Ko Nan Win sustained three gunshot injuries near his left temple and a gunshot injury to his right forearm while U Phoe Chin also sustained four gunshot injuries to his left and right hands. They are currently receiving medical care at the Shwebo District Public Hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians in the abovementioned case based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
