In Singaing Township, political extremists aiming to hinder the opening of Basic Education School and disrupt education, have made threats of violence to prevent future generations of children from falling behind in their studies

     The national government is committed to opening basic education schools, degree colleges, and universities to ensure that the future of the country's children, who represent the nation's future, isn't hindered in their education. However, the NUG and its affiliated extremist groups are conducting terrorist attacks. They are sending threatening letters to teachers and schools with the malicious intent of sabotaging educational opportunities for future generations. Their actions aim to create an uneducated society, generating fear and panic among students, teachers, and parents.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 22 December at 09:30 AM, a report stated that threatening letters were found at the Basic Education High School in Bellin Village of Singaing Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a threatening letter affixed to the signboard outside the school compound. The letter demanded, “With the warning title of Mandalay People Rescue MDY CDF, we finally demand the involvement of all of teachers and education staff in CDM activities. If you don't comply, the future consequences will be severe. The massage was attributed to Cham Min, responsible for Public Relations, and Htet Aung, in charge of the group”. Additionally, six identical threatening letters were found on the road near the school entrance. Security personnel seized them. At this school, 722 students are under the instruction of 38 teachers, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the above incidents to take punitive action against political extremist terrorists who threatened violence to induce panic among students, teachers, and parents, hindering school operations, as soonest in accordance with the law, it is reported.
