In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns against administrative officials and innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 17 September at 10:50 AM, according to the report that two males and two females were found dead near Ngwetaung Village of Sinku Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that on 16 September at 10:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) arrived at the “Kadaysu” rice and curry shop located in this Village. Later, they arrested the rice and curry shop owner U Thein Zaw (49 years old), along with his wife Daw Thal Nu Nge (48 years old) and employees; U Khin Maung Chin (43 years old) and Daw Lwin Lwin Htay (42 years old). When they arrived at a location near Ngwetaung Village, the terrorists killed U Thein Zaw, and upon reaching a location near Nyaungwun Village, the terrorists killed three individuals, including U Khin Maung Chin. As a result, they all were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 17 September at 02:30 PM, according to the report that two males were dead by gunfire in Htantapin Village of Ngazun Township, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that Ko Kyaw Min Oo (29 years old) and U Myo Naing (49 years old), who both lived in this village, were cutting firewood in a forest located approximately four furlongs east of the Village, when approximately eight so-called PDF terrorists arrived and opened fire on them. As a result, they both were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against innocent civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
