In certain townships within States and Regions, armed terrorists are coercing dedicated administrative officials, loyal to their country and fulfilling their duties, to resign from their positions. Operating under the extremist ideology of 'Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy,' these terrorists are resorting to violent attacks and assassinations, employing knives and guns against administrative officials, in an attempt to instill fear within the public.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 22 October, at 01:30 PM, Village Administrator U Bay Dar (57 years old), who lived in Shwedone Village of Sinku Township, Mandalay Region, was present in his house with his family, when four so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on him. Additionally, the terrorists also robbed a motorcycle and a hand phone belonging to U Bay Dar before fleeing the scene. As a result, U Bay Dar was dead from a bullet penetrating injury to his occiput at the incident, it is reported.
Security personnel are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against an administrative official in the abovementioned case based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
