In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against the public who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 August at 09:00 AM, according to the report that a male was found dead near the crematorium of Taungpalu Village in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that a male (under scrutiny) was dead with two gunfire injuries on his chest and back, as well as two laceration injuries on his nape. Additionally, a bullet shell marked with AUSA 380 AUTO, was found and seized near the dead body. Security personnel are continuing their investigation deal with the dead body, it is reported.
Similarly, at 11:10 AM, Village Administrator U Daung Tin, 56 years old (Father) U Than Maung, who lived in Dantdalunpin Village of Natmauk Township, Magway Region, was riding alone on his motorcycle to Shwepantaw Village to sell beef along the Ywarmon-Kyaukpadaung Road. When he arrived between milepost 9/2 and 9/3 of the road located near Kyuntaw Village, two terrorists (under scrutiny), who were following him on a motorcycle, opened fire on him. As a result, U Daung Tin was dead from four gunshot injuries to his forehead and chest, it is reported.
Similarly, at 08:00 PM, according to the report that a shooting occurred in Myothit Ward of Myintkyinar Township, Kachin State, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. Upon inspection, it is found that Namate Town Development Committee Staff Officer U Phyo Wai San, 37 years old (Father) U Saw Thein Aung, who lived in Namate Town of Mogaung Township, was driving alone in his YGN 3I/7614 Alphard vehicle from Tatkone Ward to Myothit Ward along Shwe Road. When he arrived near the “Yawanthulay” natural medicinal roots and traditional clothing shop, two terrorists (under scrutiny), who were following him on a motorcycle, opened fire on him. As a result, U Phyo Wai San was dead from two gunshot injuries on his left cheek and left arm, it is reported.
Similarly, on 4 August at 07:30 AM, U Than Htwe, 61 years old (Father) U San Tin, who lived in Aungthapyay Village of Yaenathar Village group in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, was sleeping in the Buddhist prayer room of his house, when three so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and entered his house. Later, the terrorists opened fire and attacked U Than Htwe with knives. As a result, U Than Htwe was dead from two bullet penetrating injuries from his right head through to his left backside of the ear and a cut injury on his left knee, it is reported.
Similarly, at 07:00 AM, U Tint Naing, 65 years old (Father) U Tun Maung, who lived in Nyaungwun Village of Myingyan Township, was riding alone on his motorcycle to Nabuaei Village for shopping. When he arrived in front of the road of the market of Nabuaie Village at about 08:15 AM, a terrorist (under scrutiny), who was following him on a motorcycle, opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Tint Naing was dead from two bullet penetrating injuries from his forehead through to his occipital region, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against the civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
