In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 30 May at 11:00 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunshot injuries beside the Myitkyinar-Shwebo Road located near Natmahotegyi Village of Indaw Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that a driver from Township Administrative Office, U Ko Ko Oo, 31 years old, (Father) U Khin Maung Win, who lived in Aungzaya Ward of Indaw Township, was fatally shot by terrorists (total number-under scrutiny). As a result, U Ko Ko Oo was dead from gunshot injuries at the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:15 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Thinpyun Village of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Thiha Soe Myint, 27 years old, (Father) U Myint Swe, and Ko Myo Thiha Maung, 23 years old, (Father) U Thein Htay, who both live in Tamonekine Village, were returning on a motorcycle from Thinpyun Village to their homes. When they arrived at the scene, five male terrorists (under scrutiny), who were waiting for them, threatened and forced to stop their motorcycle. Later, the terrorists opened fire on Ko Thiha Soe Myint. As a result, Ko Thiha Soe Myint was dead from gunshot injuries. Additionally, three shells of 9MM LUGER bullet was found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
Similarly, at 07:05 PM, according to the report that a woman was injured by gunfire in No. (2) Ward of Yankin Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Daw Li Li Naing Soe (aka) Li Li Naing Kyaw, 58 years old, (Father) U Soe Win, who lives in this Ward, was returning in her YGN 2I-xxxx Nissan PINO vehicle to her house. When she arrived at her house, a male terrorist (under scrutiny) who was on foot, opened fire on her before fleeing. As a result, Daw Li Li Naing Soe (aka) Li Li Naing Kyaw sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to a military hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:15 PM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire in Kinywar Village of Paung Township, Mon State, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Than Htay, 57 years old, (Father) U Thar Aung, who lives in this village, was present in his house, when two male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Than Htay sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to Mottama Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Similarly, at 09:45 PM, according to the report that two men were dead by gunfire and a motorcycle was set on fire near the junction located in front of Sawminyo monastery in Kyaukmaw Ward of Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that the two men (under scrutiny) were shot by three male terrorists (under scrutiny) at the scene before fleeing. As a result, a TNI 70W/xxxxx motorcycle (under scrutiny) was burned and the two men (under scrutiny) were dead by gunshot injuries. Additionally, a white 27W/ xxxxx Wave i motorcycle, 14 shells of 5.56 bullet, a round of bullet and one shell of 9 balls bullet were found and seized near the scene, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
