In some townships of States and Regions, armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, home-made mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 24 June at 10:00 AM, according to the report that two men and a woman were dead with injuries on the Ywrmithar-Nyaunghla ditch road in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Kan Kaung, 72 years old (Father) U Hla Kyaw, U Win Bo, 47 years old (Father) U Ohm and Daw San Nwe, 45 years old (Farther) U Kan Kaung, who all lived in Moatsi Village of Ye-U Township, were found and dead with injuries at the location. Their bodies were transported to the Ye-U Township Public 100 bedded hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Similarly, at 12:00 PM, U Tin Aye, 69 years old (Father) U Thin, who lived in Yadanarpon village, along with his nephew U Zaw Myint (aka) Pwagyi, 47 years old (Father) U Thaung Tin, were working in a field adjacent to the Village Connected Road near Thetkalkyin Village and Yadanarpon Village in Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region. During their work, six so-called PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles and opened fire on them. As a result, they were dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported. Likewise, at 04:00 PM, according to the report that a man was injured by gunfire at the junction of Kyatpaungchan Ward and Yanpu Ward in Myitkyina Township, Kachin Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Wana Aung, 37 years old (Father) U Than Ngwe, who lives in Lalkone Ward of Myitkyina Township, was returning home alone on his motorcycle from Kyatpaungchan Ward, when he arrived at the junction, a male terrorist (under scrutiny) riding on a motorcycle opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Wana Aung sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Myitkyina Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Likewise, at 04:30 PM, according to the report that a man was dead with injuries on the Kadaungkaye-Ngetpyawei Village Connected dirt road located near Ngetpyawei Village in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Zaw Htay (aka) Ba Jen, 42 years old (Father) U Kalar, who lived in Moathtaw Village of Natogyi Township, was found and dead with gunshot injuries at the incident and his body was transported to the Natogyi Township Public hospital for further examination, it is reported.
Likewise, at 07:10 PM, a dark blue TNI-1L/XXXX HONDA FIT vehicle was being driven by deputy staff officer from Kalainaung area fire station in Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region U Kyaw Myo Tun, 38 years old (Father) U Myo Lwin. Accompanying him in the vehicle were Daw Hnin Si, 47 years old (Father) U Myint Maung and Daw Ei, 34 years old (Father) U Maung Mhat, who both live in Mikyaunglaung Village. They were traveling from Dawei Town to Kalainaung Town, when they arrived near the Kyauklonegyi pagoda in Oaktharyan Village, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) opened fire on them. As a result, U Kyaw Myo Tun and Daw Hnin Si sustained gunshot injuries and were transported to the Kalainaung Circuit hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
