In Some Townships, Armed Terrorists Wantonly Kill Administrative Officials, Government Employees and Civilians who live peacefully

      In some townships of States and Regions, Armed terrorists, based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, are committing violent attacks and assassinations by using knives, guns, grenades, homemade mines and IEDs against non-CDM staff after forcibly pressuring civil service personnel who are loyal to the State to join CDM as well as others who do not support their terrorist acts after accusing them of “Spy/ Informer/ Decoy (Dalan)” to make administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully, very frightened.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 20 April at 09:00 AM, according to the report that two men was dead by gunfire in Khatthin Village of Sinku Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Myat Min Thu, 23 years old, (Father) U Aung Nyein, and Ko Thein Thet Aung, 25 years old, (Father) U Tun Kyi, who both lived in this Village, were in their respective houses, when approximately 20 so-called PDF terrorists arrived into the village and opened fire on them. As a result, Ko Myat Min Thu and Ko Thein Hteik Aung were dead at the scene from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 09:25 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the “Hnin Shwe Yi” teashop located in Ywarhtaung Ward of Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ward Administrator U Kyaw Soe, 43 years old, (Father) U Hmatgyi, who lived in Seingon Ward, was sitting in this teashop, when a male terrorist (under scrutiny) riding on a motorcycle opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Kyaw Soe sustained gunshot injuries, however, he died while being taken to Sagaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 11:30 AM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Shwemyintmo Village of Hkamti Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that 100-household Administrator U Than Htay Aung, 52 years old, (Father) U Aye Maung, who lived in this Village, was in his house, when four so-called PDF terrorists arrived and arrested him. When they arrived near Natsingon on the middle road of Shwemyintmo Village, the terrorists opened fire on him. As a result, U Than Htay Aung was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 12:40 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire in Chaung-U North Ward of Chaung-U Township, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that U Win San, 50 years old, (Father) U Pyay Tin, who lived in this Ward, was in his house, when four male terrorists (under scrutiny) arrived and opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Win San was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 05:30 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunshot injuries in a lake located beside the village connected road of Myogyi Village and Phayarngarsu Village in Paungde Township, Bago Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Village Administrator U Htay Aung, 58 years old, (Father) U Nyunt Hlaing, who lived in Zeepinhla Village, was returning alone from Myogyi Village to Zeepinhla Village, and when he arrived at the scene, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number under scrutiny) opened fire on him. As a result, U Htay Aung was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 07:20 PM, according to the report that a man was dead by gunfire at the “Kyaw Htet” Betel nut shop located in front of yard No. (306) in Kyaikhunt pagoda road of Aungchanthar Ward in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, security personnel went to the scene to inspect. The investigation found that Ko Tun Oo Kyaw, 37 years old, (Father) U Htay Lwin, who lived in Nyaungthonebin Village, was in this shop, when a terrorist (under scrutiny) opened fire on him before fleeing. As a result, U Htay Aung was dead from gunshot injuries, it is reported.
      Security Force Members are continuing necessary actions to identify and arrest those terrorists who committed wantonly killings and assassinations against administrative officials, government employees and civilians who live peacefully in the abovementioned cases based on the one-sided ideology of extremism ‘Everyone who differs from my attitude is my enemy’, it is reported.
